.com or .net, .org domains?

It really depends on the model of my site. I use .com for general commerce. .net for communities or .org for an organization page.

I prefer .com Extension...Because .com is for commercial...also Common and world wide extension for many websites....So that i registered my Business website Domain name .com extension...I got the Domain name registration at low cost here XnYnZ

.net is for NETWORK,.ORG for organization....so If you like a name to register Your Domain name ...You choose the .com extension but you cannot able to get that in that extension means You can better GO for .org or .net..there is no wrong in that...But first preference you need to give for .com If it organization or network related site means you can better register it with their extensions....

The .com domain is only worth buying because it is the most people assume that when you type in the internet. While it is true that .com domains are very popular. Therefore, you should choose .com domain.

Depends on the project you want to start.... I would suggest .com and if you have a unique domain you want to register just buy them all... you never know . You might need them after that are not available

I prefer on .com and .in domain extensions. .com is most common and is a default TLD that helps to get better rankings in search engines. It is recommendable to use .com domains.
Also now the domain prices have been reduced. You can get the .com domains at the minimal cost of $7.64 and many other domains at low cost from Hioxindia.

.com is always the first choice. I think it depends if you want your site to rank locally or not. .in is good for the search results in India while .co.uk is for United Kingdom.

.com is still the most widely preferred domain TLD available and hence if it's available to register, I would suggest you to go ahead and register it. The content definitely makes a difference but it's found that search engines still prefer .com TLD over any other TLD's and the fact that it's the easiest of the TLD's to remember cannot be ignored.

If .com is not available then i would go for .net or .org for better domain names.

I would always choose short domain names.
