While hosting is the internet service, in which your website gets allocated with a space in the web servers. I wonder how people come to a conclusion that domain name and web hosting is the same? Domain name is your URL or the address of your website and web hosting is the place where you put your website files so people can view it.

One method of doing this is to check that the domain registrar's website is featured on the ICANN (The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers) Accredited Registrars list. I agree. Dont buy domains from web hosts. They will probably give poor support or high prices

Also, don't buy both domain name and hosting from one provider, it may be problematic at the time of switching to other provider...

I would suggest buy domain name from Godaddy it is very secure, affordable and easy to use, transfer and sell as well.

Ya, very true! I agree with you, it is good to have the hosting and domain registration with the same service provider! I host and registered my domain with tucktail.com for a few years now and it works perfectly well for me!!Tucktail also provides 24/7 Email, Phone & Web Support!
